I created the comic Mom's Cancer, which won the 2005 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic and was published by Abrams in 2006. Other honors included the 2007 Harvey Award for Best New Talent and the 2007 German Youth Literature Prize. My second book, Whatever Happened to the World of Tomorrow?, released by Abrams in June 2009, was nominated for several Eisner and Harvey awards and won the American Astronautical Society's 2009 Emme Award for Best Young Adult Literature. I'm grateful.
Thanks, Mike! Now I can turn my attention to four pages of something else I happily agreed to draw for someone else.
Jim, it took me five minutes to figure out what the heck you were talking about. Sadly, the "21" in the square isn't a code, it just came printed on the box I happened to use. However, it is almost eerily apt, for a reason I may explain someday.
I hope the plot and the art get more interesting than they are so far. I like the lettering, though -- except for all that smudgy stuff going on in the upper-left hand corner.

May the road rise to meet you, Mystery Project X!
... hereafter referred to as "Project 441" because of the "21 squared," amirite?

Trying to peek ...
The Eagle has landed. And it is spectacular. Off to San Diego tomorrow, but will call you before I head out Thanks!
I guess you wrote "Sooper Sekrit" on the side instead of on the top as is customary.
Maddening!

Good Luck!
I'm totally okay with it being a vinyl LP.
I hereby dub top-sekrit project Project 21 until informed otherwise. We could call it "Project Area 21", but that would be gilding the lily.
This is so exciting, Brian!
